On Monday, April 20, 2026, Wellesley Historical Society Executive Director Faith Ellis will run the Boston Marathon on behalf of the Society, raising funds to support the opening of a new exhibit debuting in September 2026 at the Wellesley History & Exhibit Center. Faith has committed to raising $5,000 through her marathon run, with every dollar directly supporting exhibit research, interpretation, and design.

Running 26.2 miles is no small undertaking, and neither is preserving and sharing Wellesley’s history. By donating, you are helping ensure the Society can continue to educate and inspire visitors of all ages while expanding how Wellesley’s story is told.
